Planning a 2025 Valentine’s Wedding? What to know

It’s engagement season, and if you’re new here -congratulations!!! What an incredible feeling it is, isn’t it? But it’s also like a storm of information, and it can be a lot. People are thinking, “Whoa, I had no idea how much went into planning a wedding!”

Well, I’m here to help.

If you’re here and looking at the fact that Valentine’s day falls on a Friday in 2025, here are some tips and considerations for you:

  • Make sure you and your future spouse are prepared to have one romantic holiday overlap with your anniversary.

    • Getting presents for someone so soon after Christmas can already be really taxing on the budget for many, so having this kind of overlap is something to think about.

    • Also, consider the fact you may have to fight to reserve a table on the 14th and 15th on your anniversaries.

    • Remember that you and your spouse might want to spread the love over the month instead of a single day.

    • My biggest advice: talk about this issue specifically before setting the date!

  • As cute and romantic as a Valentine’s wedding might seem, it is also a bit cliché if you’re not careful. To avoid this, make sure to throw in something that is truly both your styles. Don’t be afraid to break the norm here, it will be memorable!

  • Book your vendors early! This will be a busy weekend for vendors across the USA, so plan ahead and you’ll be fine.

That all said, I’d still go full force on heart-shaped pizza (or something classier) and cookies. There’s nothing wrong with having fun with this holiday!

Whatever you choose to do, I send you and yours love and warmth this February.

Cozy wishes,
