Nestled in the Oakwood neighborhood of downtown Raleigh lies the historic yet everlasting All Saints Chapel. Once known as the Church of the Good Shepherd, All Saints Chapel now serves as a beautiful event venue that welcomes all denominations and affiliations. For couples searching for a romantic and classic wedding atmosphere, an All Saints Chapel wedding offers a space where the architecture and character truly speak for themselves. It’s a space where, when you look back at your wedding photos 80 years from now, they’ll transport you right back to that moment, making it feel as though you just said “I do” yesterday.
Apart from its natural charm, All Saints Chapel has everything you would want for your wedding day. Let me paint the picture for you.

Starting right when you wake up, you can head straight to the venue to get ready in a comfortable space. The chapel offers two getting-ready suites located downstairs from the ceremony room, equipped with comfortable couches, mirrors, and plenty of room to settle in with your wedding party. You get ready here and it’s almost guaranteed to make you feel fabulous before walking down the aisle.

As the hour gets closer to ceremony time, guests walk into the ceremony room and immediately take in the soaring ceilings and stained-glass windows. The space can host up to 200 guests while still feeling intimate and full of emotion. Once everyone is seated, the entrance doors close as guests quietly await the processional, adding to the excitement of the day.

One feature we especially love as wedding planners is the loft space inside the ceremony room, which allows the DJ or musicians to play seamlessly without distracting from the ceremony itself. As the music begins, we cue the processional while anticipation fills the room. The doors close one final time as the bride is escorted upstairs, while the groom waits at the altar for his future wife.

After a few seconds of building music, the doors open and the bride appears. Her gorgeous, fluffed-up white dress is framed by the light pouring in from the chapel entrance. An EPIC entrance, all thanks to the venue layout.
After the ceremony, guests can be escorted downstairs to the lower reception hall for cocktail hour. There, they can enjoy drinks and appetizers from one of the venue’s preferred vendors, all exquisite. This space is very much appreciated it by us. It allows for a seamless room flip of the ceremony space into the reception hall of your dreams. All you need is an efficient timeline and the KSO team to make it happen.
After meticulous preparation and thoughtful execution by the vendor team and us, the reception space is finally ready. One of our favorite moments is escorting the couple in for their first look at the room before guests enter. Seeing their reaction as they take in every detail, and watch their vision come to life, never gets old.

After the couple, guests are invited into the reception for dinner, heartfelt toasts, and first dances. Then, the celebration truly begins. From that moment on, the focus shifts from timelines and logistics to being fully present, celebrating, and creating memories that last long after the night ends. This is what a wedding looks like at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh, NC.

All Saints Chapel is ideal for couples looking for timeless elegance on their wedding day. Perfect for almost any color palette, we’ve seen reds, purples, greens, and neutrals all look stunning against the antique wooden structure. Décor can be as minimal or as intricate as you desire because the venue already brings so much character to the space. All in all, it remains one of our favorite venues we’ve had the opportunity to work at in Raleigh.
